Traigh Eais (2015) - pronounced 'Tri Ash' - was captured on top of Dun Scuravil looking south over Traigh Eais on the Isle of Barra, Scotland a little before 6AM in mid-August 2015. Traigh Eais is a 1 mile (1.5km) stretch of beach on the west side of the peninsular that joins the main part of Barra with Eoligarry on the northern tip of the island. Just to the east (out of shot) is the famous Barra airport - the only airport in the world where scheduled flights land directly on the beach with no runway.
